BUDGET

On February 13, 2024, The School Committee during their regularly scheduled meeting, will continue to review the District budget to ensure it meets the needs of our students and our strategic plan. We continue to ensure our annual budget process is transparent and open for dialogue to ensure our community understands the investment we are making in education for our Chariho students.

  • Budget Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Document : The FAQ is a compilation of questions we have received throughout budget workshops and through the years.

  • Budget Question Submission Form . Please use this form to submit a budget question you may have that needs to be added to our FAQ.

  • Current Enrollment Document. Current student enrollment numbers by school.

  • Budget Information Website- All Budget documents are located here.

School Celebrations

Classroom and school celebrations will not be centered on food, except if the food items are part of a curriculum-related activity.  The District shall allow parents/guardians the right to refuse their child’s participation to partake of food brought to school from the homes of other students or from sources other than the District’s food service provider or the Chariho Area Career and Technical Center. If you do wish to share something with the other students, we suggest non-food items like pencils, erasers, or stickers.  Thank you for your support and cooperation with this matter.

Winter Attire

Please ensure that your children are coming to school dressed for the cold weather. We are seeing children come with just a light sweatshirt. We are still going outside for recess for an extended period of time.  It is also recommended that you label coats and other garments.  We have a lost and found bin if your child is missing an article of clothing.
